Transcripts can be ordered online 24/7 through the National Student Clearinghouse. You can place as many orders as you like in one session using any major credit card. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed. Delivery updates are available via mobile text messages and will also be emailed to you. You can track your order online through the National Student Clearinghouse with your e-mail and order number. 

Your signed consent is required to fulfill your transcript order. For your convenience, a consent form will be generated that you can approve instantly online with an electronic signature. 

Transcript orders will be processed Monday - Thursday 8:30am-5pm and on Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. 
*Hours of operation may change due to weather or holidays.

NOTE: Transcript requests will not be processed if the student has an outstanding balance with the college. To pay an outstanding balance please contact the Student Accounts office at 616-632-2864.

Requesting an Unofficial Transcript
Unofficial transcripts are only available to active students. Students can obtain their unofficial transcript by logging into Self Service, clicking on 'Academics,' and then clicking on 'Unofficial Transcript.'

FAQ

What are the different transcript order mailing options?

Standard Mail Delivery: Once your transcript request is received in our office, the transcript will be mailed within 2 business days. Please allow an additional 5-7 business days for delivery by the United States Postal Service.

Electronic Delivery: Digital transcripts are available for students that attended Aquinas College from the year 2000 or later. These can be delivered to a provided email address or through the Electronic Exchange. Please be sure your recipient participates in the Electronic Exchange before you select that option.

In-Office Pick Up: Paper transcripts can be held in our office to pick up in person during our regular business hours.

What are the different transcript processing options?

  • Now: Transcript will include all completed grades/courses as of the day your request is processed. In process courses will not be included.
  • After Grades Are Posted: Transcript will not be processed until grades are turned in, usually approximately one week after the end of the current term. 
  • After Degree Is Awarded: Transcript will not be processed until degrees are posted, approximately 6-8 weeks after the graduation date.

Do I need an official or unofficial transcript? 

Official Transcripts are used for institution transfers, employment, scholarships, insurance, etc. Unofficial Transcripts allow the student to view what classes they have taken, class credits, and cumulative grade point average. Unofficial transcripts are only available to currently enrolled students.

Does Aquinas issue transcripts to students? 

Yes, there will be a stamp on your transcript stating "issued to student." In order to remain official, the transcript must be left unopened and sealed.

Can I pick up the transcript in person? 

Yes, there is a pick-up option as you go through the steps of requesting a transcript from the National Student Clearinghouse. 

Who can request a transcript?

Only the student as their signature is required.
